In a new policy brief from Balkan Focus and Centro Studi di Politica Internazionale (CeSPI), dr. Cyril Martin-Colonna zooms in on “fall” of Milorad Dodik, who was removed from his position as president of the Bosnian Serb entity of Republika Srpska within Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dodik was convicted for violating the peace agreement in the country, but the power dynamics between nationalists and pro-Europeans, federalists and nationalists remain continuous, with the Bosnian general elections coming up in October 2026.
